What is your favorite Mount Peter memory?
Doing the first Karen Wieble race
as a Kombi and watching the faces of the parents from the other mountains
showing up and looking up the hill at a "Mini World Cup" race. Then after a kid
slid into the nets watching ski patrol do a 360 on the "World Cup" snow while
still in the handles of the sled.... and never skipping a beat.
What's something most people don't know about the
Mount Peter race program?
How
much time we spend in the groomer with Kevin. Either the night before to show
him where we need snow for the race, or the morning of the race taking all the
gates and nets up the hill to set. Plus they don't see all the little things
that go on behind the scene.
